To build on the materiality of the exhibition I produced a large-scale photograph reproduction in a translucent film that also acted as part of a promotional campaign on the exterior. A number of tests were produced to create the desired balance between translucency and boldness of colour.
I created a gradient wallpaper that spanned the 200m+ parameter of the exhibition, transitioning from pure white through to dark skin tones using the Fitzpatrick scale. An extremely complex print production and install job due to the complex exhibition space made up on dozens of fragmented walls. Close to 100 individually coloured labels were also produced to match the section of gradient wall each label sat on.
A section of the wallpaper included a white grid that was referenced from one of the video’s displayed in the area.
